About the Role:
HBH Wellness in Baltimore, MD is looking for a passionate and dedicated Residential House Manager/Peer to join our team. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals on their wellness and recovery journey — all while drawing on your own lived experience to inspire and support others.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a residential wellness facility, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment
- Provide peer support and mentorship to residents using personal recovery experience
- Enforce house rules, schedules, and community guidelines to maintain structure and accountability
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support resident care plans and goals
- Facilitate house meetings, group check-ins, and community-building activities
- Monitor resident well-being and escalate concerns to appropriate staff as needed
- Assist residents with connecting to community resources, services, and support networks
Requirements:
- Lived experience with recovery or behavioral health challenges strongly preferred
- Peer Recovery Specialist certification or willingness to obtain one
- Prior experience in residential care, house management, or a similar supervisory role
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to a trauma-informed approach
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building authentic peer relationships
- Must be located in or able to commute to Baltimore, MD
- Certified Peer Support Specialist a plus!
- Certfied Medication technician (CMT) a plus!

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
